Construction of Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm project to go ahead following financial agreements.
Forth & Tay Offshore would like to take this opportunity to congratulate EDF and the NNG team for reaching a Financial Investment Decision on the project. NNG, combined with the first phase SSE Seagreen project, will see around 1.5GW of offshore wind capacity deployed in the Forth and Tay estuaries by 2023 marking the region’s emergence as one of the key offshore wind clusters in the UK – this level of regional deployment will likely outstrip construction in the whole of North America across the corresponding period.
