iSURVEY is a provider of offshore survey and positioning services. From surface and subsea positioning through to seabed mapping via survey vessels and unmanned survey vessels (USV), we deliver quality data for clients to progress with their engineering and construction activities. We deliver a safe and reliable services to a wide range of clients, supporting geophysical surveys, pre-lay & UXO surveys, cable installation support, as-laid and remedial intervention support across all phases of offshore energy development. We also have a large activity level in rig & mooring operations including floating offshore wind. As a leading edge contributor to new developments we were involved in the Hywind Scotland project in 2017, using our expertise from the oil & gas sector to support this new activity. We are increasingly using remote technologies to reduce the dependence on offshore personnel numbers, to reduce HSE exposure, costs and carbon footprint.

Case studies
Seagreen Export Cable Survey The Seagreen Project is a well know and significant windfarm development project offshore the East coast of Scotland. iSURVEY were contracted to acquire geophysical survey data to evaluate seabed, subâ€seabed conditions and assess for potential unexploded ordnance (UXO) prior to the routing and emplacement of export route cables. This work was carried out in June 2020.

Project: Seagreen Export Route UXO Survey Client: Nexans Norway AS Location: East coast Scotland Water Depth: Approx. 12 – 60m Date: June 2020 iSURVEY scope of work involved the provision of: - Survey vessel Siem Pride, mobilised with ROV, survey and positioning equipment - ROV mounted High resolution Sidescan sonar, Multibeam echosounder and subâ€bottom profiler data acquisition. - Innovatum SmartSearch Gradiometer - Processing, interpreting and reporting. - Generation of pUXO target listing - Data charting and deliverable provision.
Baltic Pipe UXO & Anchor Corridor Survey iSURVEY was contracted to provide UXO and anchor corridor route survey services on the Baltic Pipe Project which covers Danish, Swedish and Polish territorial waters of the Baltic Sea. This was a challenging project in terms of overall scale, multinational boundary crossing, and the environment for survey operations (shallow water and highly variable thermoclines in the water column).
