TEXO Group Ltd , the leading engineering, fabrication, asset management and survey company, is delighted to announce that TEXO Engineering and Fabrication has been awarded a multi-million-pound fabrication contract from SAIPEM in support of the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm renewable energy project.

TEXO will fabricate temporary steel structures at two of their sites in Blyth and Dundee; the structures will be deployed by SAIPEM vessels to assist with the installation of the pin-piles at all locations across the field. The company will project manage a large and demanding manufacturing schedule, utilising all of TEXO’s services and facilities, delivering the ‘one-team’ approach that TEXO has built into its recent company restructure. “TEXO has been actively working in the renewables sector for some time,” said Donny Marshall, Director of TEXO Engineering and Fabrication. “This large contract award will be the springboard to establishing TEXO as a major supplier into this market.”
