With a trading history spanning more than 120 years, TDC Parsons Peebles is a world-renowned manufacturer and repairer of medium and high voltage electric motors and generators. We are the last remaining wholly UK-owned manufacturer of high voltage motors and generators (3.3kV to 13.8kV and up to 50MW). The business also boasts one of the most comprehensive test facilities in Europe, with direct full load testing and capacity at 50 and 60Hz up to 8MW for motors and up to 65MVA for generators.

- For over 120 years, TDC Parsons Peebles has designed, manufactured and supplied large, bespoke HV motors and generators. Today we provide a wide range of solutions for critical applications through to specialist design and manufacture of bespoke motors and generators to suit the most arduous and difficult of installations. Our design team’s industry-leading direct replacement drop-in electrical and mechanical duplication solutions provide peace of mind even when supporting very old installations. With one of the most comprehensive high voltage test facilities in the UK, we can provide full rated performance testing on all your equipment. Our testing capabilities cover up to 13.8KV, operating at both 50 and 60Hz. We have a load test facility where we can test 2-pole Induction Motors at up to 8MW full load at rated voltage and speed. We can carry out full rated performance testing of Synchronous Generators and Motors up to 65MVA. We have up to 63T single hook lifting capability and use state-of-the-art equipment. We can provide full onsite analysis, repairs, site removal and installation of motors and generators. In addition and through strategic alliances and partnerships, we can provide direct replacement, offer modification as well as assemble customised motors to your exact specification.
