Case studies

Supporting a client in the Manufacturing sector who required a flexible and proactive maintenance partner capable of offering a broad range of tecnicians and professions through a single source. Whilst not a 'wind' project, this case study clearly shows the ability of the XL Group to support a wide range of requirements, and to support a customer with reccomendations and guidance from insepctions that has allwoed them to minimise site issues and subsequent downtime troubles.

Contract type: Ops and maintenance outage support

Value: £50,000

Electrical, mechanical manpower and equipment provision. Critical support was required to support infrastructure including: Pumps / rotating bed, shakers, vessels, pipework, exchangers, valves change out and maintenance, switchboard upgrades and function testing.

Working with a manufacturing business who required support to remotely monitor and maintain an unmanned site. Through the integration of a number of Remote telemetry units, XL Group were able to assist in the 24/7 monitoring of the site, and ensure responses to alerts were dealt with in a timely manner.

Contract type: Ongoing Maintenance contract with upgrade projects therein

Value: £50,000

The client requested support to integrate a remote telecommunication system that would allow them to ensure the site remained operational 24/7. This was achieved through the integration of 8 RTU's within the clients preferred Allan Bradley PLC. We were subsequently contracted to provide an upgraded SCADA system, inclusive of the associated control panels.
