Congratulations to Neart na Gaoith (NnG) Offshore Wind Farm: Winner of the Outstanding Project Award

We’re thrilled to celebrate NnG’s success at the Scottish Green Energy Awards in Edinburgh last week where Scotland’s newest offshore wind farm was recognised for its outstanding contribution to the renewable energy sector.

Located 15.5km off the Fife coast in the Firth of Forth, NnG is jointly owned by EDF power solutions UK and ESB. With 54 Siemens Gamesa turbines generating up to 450MW of clean electricity, the project is now fully operational and capable of powering around 375,000 homes.

As a long-standing member of the Forth and Tay Offshore Wind Cluster Steering Group, NnG has been instrumental in driving collaboration, investment and sustainable growth across our region. This award win highlights the impact of collective effort in building a cleaner, greener energy system for generations to come.
