OEUK will launch Wind Insight 2026 this May, alongside an updated edition of its UK Offshore Wind Farm Development Processes Guidelines, providing a timely snapshot of how the offshore wind market is evolving in the UK and globally.
Delivered as a series of breakfast briefings, the event will explore the trends shaping offshore wind in 2026 and beyond, with a focus on project pipelines, investment conditions and the policy landscape. Attendees will gain clear, evidence?based insight into where the market is heading and what that means for developers, the supply chain and investors.
Wind Insight 2026 will offer a global and UK perspective on offshore wind development, including analysis of the project pipeline, UK market dynamics and outcomes from the seventh Contract for Difference offshore wind auction (AR7). The briefings will also consider grid reform, Transmission Network Use of System Charges (TNUoS), curtailment challenges and the longer?term price and policy outlook beyond 2030, as well as the role of homegrown energy in supporting resilience, industrial capability and long?term growth.
