Inch Cape Supply Chain Expo: 12-13 June 2024
Meet Inch Cape and their suppliers
Date: Wednesday 12 June and Thursday 13 June 2024
Times: Day One 12.00 - 18.00 (UK BST)
Day Two 08.15 - 12.30 (UK BST)
Venue: Forth Ports Leith Cruise Terminal, Ocean Drive, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 6JJ
Forth & Tay Offshore are delighted to be supporting Inch Cape with their Supply Chain Expo on 12-13 June, organised by NOF and hosted by Forth Ports.
After more than 12 years in development, the Inch Cape project is assembling its Tier 1 contractors ready to start full construction. The Inch Cape team is keen to ensure UK companies are well-placed to bid for contracts with their Tier 1s and would like to welcome the local supply chain to a face-to-face event held over two days in June 2024.
A number of the project’s Tier 1s will be exhibiting over two days and there will be opportunities to hear from them directly, book one-to-ones and meet with others in the offshore wind supply chain. There will also be the chance to find out the latest on the project and have a tour of the port at Leith, for those keen to see how it's being developed.
There are limited places for this free event so we ask that you keep attendees to one per company and choose either Day One or Day Two.

Who should attend?
The event is recommended for existing and potential suppliers to the offshore wind sector, particularly those with a local presence or facilities. While attendees can come on either of the days, Day One will focus on wind turbine generators and the wider project and Day Two on the electrical transmission system.
Inch Cape’s available Tier 1 contractors will be present on both days for conversations at exhibition stands or for one-to-ones with suppliers offering goods or services relevant to their requirements.
Those who would like to have one-to-one meetings should register for their preferred day, and then tick the box indicating an interest in one-to-ones. Forth & Tay Offshore will then be in contact to arrange these.

20 Years and Thriving
By member company Proeon Systems, 18 April 2024 - Norwich, Norfolk
Proeon Systems is celebrating its 20th Anniversary during 2024, which is a proud milestone for the business.

From its original vision of providing professional consultancy safety control systems engineering services the company now employs almost 80 people, operating across the transitional energy sector and several other highly regulated industries, providing full turn-key solutions to it’s clients across the UK and Europe.
Proeon prides itself on its ability to exceed client expectations in the provision of value and quality and in adopting a flexible approach to clients’ requirements.
Kevin Magee, Company Founder and Technical Director said - “As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we reflect on the journey that has brought us to this milestone. We are immensely proud of how far we’ve come and are grateful for the support of our team, clients and partners and who have been instrumental in our continued success.”
Mapping Offshore Wind Capabilities in Scotland: highlights
Since our Mapping Offshore Wind Capabilities in Scotland survey closed, we’ve been working on standardizing and translating the data. While we continue to work on producing a report of the findings, we have created some images which give a high-level analysis of the responses, showing the strength of the supply chain here in Scotland.
We were very grateful to gather 80 responses, so these figures are representative of that data and how much respondents were able to share within the confines of confidentiality factors. That’s to say that these figures are impressive, but the real scale and potential is so much greater!
Keep an eye out for our full report on the survey findings, where we will go into more detail on the data gathered and what it can tell us about Scotland’s offshore wind supply chain.
