Case studies
Doggerbank A, B and C, are part of an offshore wind farm with a total capacity of 1.2GW, located 131km off East Riding of Yorkshire coast. Operator is Equinor, with owners being Equinor and SSE Renewables, and the contract for the electricals and offshore substation (HVDC) placed with Aibel and Hitachi ABB. Doggerbank A and B are currently under construction, with Doggerbank C planned for 2022.
