Imes have supplied into the offshore and subsea industry -predominantly Oil and gas related for over 30 years. With current emphasis on diversification into aligned industries the developed technologies apply to many areas in offshore wind in particular. This project was for a large floating vessel to be permanently moored for over 30 years. Imes supplied the engineering,sensors, software to moniytor all aspects of the mooring monitoring cross referenced to a host of environmental, metocean and other sensor for position, angle, motion,stress etc. The software providing live data but also through life integrity management and fatigue assessment.
Subsea testing of cables with IR,CR and TDR capabilities remote tested from the surface details on failures of cables, failure point, degradation and degree of degradation - with preferred partner ability to repair subsea cables at point.
