Forth & Tay Offshore Supply Chain Survey Report 2026 launched

We knew there was a lot of offshore wind capability across Scotland. Our latest survey helped us put some numbers around it.
At our Dundee spotlight event on Wednesday 30 September, Councillor Steven Rome helped us launch the Report, and there is plenty of good news.
78 organisations responded to the survey representing 151 sites across Scotland. Of those responding, 45 companies are already working in offshore wind, with another 23 looking to bring their skills and experience into the sector.
The survey also shows the breadth of what Scottish businesses can offer, from engineering and professional services to marine operations, construction, inspection, maintenance and decommissioning.
Of course, there’s more to do. But having a much clearer picture of the supply chain gives us something solid to build on and helps us see where the opportunities are to get more Scottish businesses involved.
We ran our first supply chain survey in 2024, so this year’s results give us the chance to see the progress being made and how Scotland’s offshore wind supply chain is developing.
Thank you to every business that contributed. Your responses made the report possible.
