APEM
East Anglia ONE was the first offshore wind farm to gain planning approval using solely digital aerial bird surveys as part of the environmental impact assessment.
APEM provided innovative aerial surveys, data, assessment and expert advice on the potential impacts of the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm on seabirds and marine mammals, contributing to its successful consent.

Ace Aquatec
Marine construction activities can cause deafness and other serious physiological harm to local marine life if appropriate precautions are not taken.
Ace Aquatec's innovative FaunaGuard system uses academically validated sound patterns with award-winning acoustic transducer technology to create temporary exclusion zones for marine life around project sites.
FaunaGuard has proven itself during use on several offshore wind projects, including Arkona in the Baltic Sea, where avoiding disruption to marine life was a crucial factor in the tender award and execution of the project.
